FAQ
Plain answers, each linked to its proof.
The real questions, answered in plain language, with links to the page or record entry that proves each answer.
These are the questions people actually ask before they take part, answered plainly. Where an answer can be checked, it links to the page or the record entry that proves it.
Veraq describes a system you can inspect, so most of these answers end the same way: you do not have to take our word for it. The mechanism, the open record, and the defined share to causes are all open to read.
Common questions
What is Veraq?
Veraq is an open, verifiable platform for community prosperity. Participation runs in waves, every participation and outcome is written to an open record anyone can inspect, and a defined share of every outcome flows to verified causes participants choose.
How do I know it is fair?
The mechanism that decides each wave, commit-reveal-v1, is committed to the open record before the wave runs and provable after it ends. You can read the math first and check the outcome against it later, rather than trust a process you cannot open.
What is the open record?
The open record is the public, auditable account of what happens on Veraq: each wave, its committed mechanism, the participations, the outcomes, and the contributions to causes. Every entry links to the next, so a wave can be followed end to end, before and after it runs.
What is a wave?
A wave is a single round of participation. Its mechanism is published before the wave opens, participants take part on terms they can see, and the result is revealed and recorded when the wave closes.
How does the share to causes work?
A defined, published share of every outcome is allocated automatically to verified causes that participants help choose, and each contribution is written to the open record. The share is structural and consistent, so you can follow exactly where it went, from outcome to cause.
Are outcomes promised in advance?
No. Veraq is for shared opportunity, not an assured result, and no outcome is ever promised. What is fixed is that the mechanism is published in advance, the record is open, and the defined share reaches verified causes.
Where is Veraq available?
Availability depends on the rules of each jurisdiction Veraq serves, and the platform operates only where it can do so lawfully and to recognised standards. The compliance page sets out current jurisdictions and eligibility checks.
How do I verify a wave?
Open the record entry for the wave, read the committed mechanism, then confirm the revealed values and outcome resolve from that commitment. The how-it-works and open-record pages walk through each step, and the published references let you reproduce the check yourself.
What about my privacy and data?
Veraq writes participations, outcomes, and contributions to the open record, while personal details are kept private and held only as long as needed. The privacy page sets out exactly what is recorded, what is kept private, and the rights you hold over your information.
Where each answer is proven
How it works

The open record
What is written, how entries link, and how to read and verify a single wave yourself.
Social impact

If a question here still leaves you in doubt, the right answer is to check the record, not to trust the claim.
